Variety

Today I didn't lift. Not in a sense that most people would consider lifting.

I went over to Solid Rock Gym (an indoor rock climbing facility) and climbed for about 2 hours.
The first hour was dedicated to using my upper body only. Climbing a sheer face without your legs is a serious challenge to your grip and back!
Then the second hour was a greater focus on using my legs (which is how you are supposed to climb).
Then went to the beach and swam to aid recovery of my body (and my mind, going to the beach is a great stress reliever for me).

Find a way to do something new and different for your workout- you can thank me later.

Hey Max

Good stuff!

Far too many "hardcore" gym rats confuse simple with easy! my sessions are so simple, my friends think ive lost my mind. but im the one laughing when i see them doing their 15th set of reverse dumbell side raising twists. Another thing that drives me mad is the abuse of the word ' core', every second person thinks he knows about core, but until you do a pullup with half your bw or deadlift 2.5 x bw you know nothing!!
