Ultimate Clean and Jerk 10:00 @ 40kg

This was pretty tough. The unfortunate part is that I had some left in the tank at the end. Finished with 81 reps. I've practiced a bunch of one arm jerks but almost no long cycle for any duration--definitely should have been better prepared. I think with some work I can hit 90+ reps.

Good stuff, Max. Do you have an ultimate goal you're shooting for with the jerks? Do you try to increase the time you go for, or the reps, or both? I don't have much experience with jerks and have been looking for a way to incorporate them into my variety days without killing my progress in other lifts. Thanks for the comments on Dragon Door. I may be out your way soon and hope to drop by your gym and say hi.

Take care

Let me know when you're close and we'll set something up for sure.

The general rule for competition lifts is to start with a light weight and increase time, then reps, then weight. I like to do both high and low reps with light and heavy weights.
